Gavin has considerable knowledge around corporate governance, mergers acquisitions and takeovers, corporate finance such as initial public offerings, backdoor listings, rights issues, share purchase plans and corporate borrowings. Gavin also assists clients in dealing with regulators, solvent and insolvent reconstructions and contracts, such as joint ventures, agreements in general and related party transactions.

Administrators of a listed public company in the retail sector – acted for the Administrators in connection with the complex Voluntary Administration. Advised with respect to a large number of retention of title claims and with respect to a proposal for a Deed of Company Arrangement and Creditors’ Trust.

Various listed companies – in respect of four rights issues for listed public companies. All four were successfully completed notwithstanding difficult market conditions

Unlisted Public Company – Acted for a client company on a backdoor listing for a company suspended from quotation on ASX. The company succeeded in achieving re-quotation of its shares.
