Liquidator – acted on their behalf to sue one of the top 4 Australian banks for breaches of the ASIC Act. The claim was based on strong evidence that the bank’s conduct amounted to “commercial extortion” of a publicly listed company. The case settled at mediation within 3 months of commencement of the proceedings and resulted in a significant settlement for our client.
National retail franchisors – represented them in contested matters involving termination, breaches and damages claims including intellectual property and trademark issues.
