about Andrew

Andrew’s experience enables him to offer not just legal advice to his clients but commercial advice as well, both areas integral to being a corporate law specialist. He has significant experience in private and public mergers and acquisitions, restructuring transactions and general corporate advisory matters.

His clients include Australian corporates, family offices, high net worth individuals, private equity and venture capital firms and foreign companies investing in Australia.

He has worked on a range of significant corporate transactions, including the proposed merger between Vodafone Hutchison Australia and TPG Telecom, Universal Robina Corporation’s 40 per cent sale of its Snack Brands Australia and Griffin’s Food businesses to Intersnack International, the debt-for-equity restructuring of Nine Entertainment Co and its subsequent IPO, and the takeover of Spotless Group by funds managed or advised by private equity firm Pacific Equity Partners.

“My focus is on giving clear and commercial advice, developing strong relationships with clients and working collaboratively as a team. I am able to quickly understand complex issues and offer advice, taking into account my client’s legal and commercial objectives.”

Having previously worked for top tier law firms, Andrew joined Macpherson Kelley in 2019 to grow its corporate advisory and M&A practice.
