Local community support: Giving children of refugees and asylum seekers a kick start for the 2016 school year
In preparation for the 2016 school year, Macpherson Kelley was once again involved in Dandenong Community Advisory Bureau’s (DCAB) initiative to provide school stationery packs to children of refugees and asylum seekers returning to (or starting) school.
The packs contained the fundamental stationery items that a child needs for school. We had an overwhelming response and a large delivery of the packs was presented to Jinny McGrath, CEO at DCAB for distribution amongst needy children.
Macpherson Kelley places a great deal of importance on helping the local community and support many local initiatives each year.
