Consultant Kenneth Philp elected to board of international IP association
Macpherson Kelley intellectual property Consultant Kenneth Philp has been elected to the board of the Association of Intellectual Property Firms (AIPF), an international organisation dedicated to advancing the interests of IP firms around the world.
Ken was elected to the 15-member board at the AIPF’s recent annual general meeting in Washington, DC.
Ken, who is one of only two Australians on the board, said it was an honour to join the board and that he was looking forward to helping it support IP firms around the world.
“By ensuring IP firms are up to date with the latest developments in law and practice around the world, we ensure they’re in the best position to help clients protect their IP assets,” he said.
Ken has been an IP lawyer for more than 30 years with extensive experience providing advice on protecting and litigating copyright, trade marks, design and patent issues, brand protection and confidential information.
As well as joining the AIPF board, Ken will also remain a member of the AIPF’s Boutique Practice Committee.
