Macpherson Kelley is pleased to announce the appointment of Brigid Clark as a new Principal Lawyer based out of Sydney, working in Employment, Safety and Migration.

Brigid specialises in Employment, Industrial Relations and Work, Health and Safety, bringing with her a unique and agile client service skillset. Having worked for ASX 200 companies and clients within both private and public sectors – Brigid’s ability to mould to her environment and understand the motivations behind her clients’ needs is just one of the reasons she has been sought out to join Macpherson Kelley.

“Brigid is renowned as an energetic and dedicated lawyer who is actively engaged in keeping her clients at the forefront of legal changes and developments in Employment and WHS law, so we were keen to get her on board to join our Employment practice in Sydney,” said National Managing Principal Grant Guenther.

Brigid has been recognised amongst the profession as one of the ‘ones to watch’ having been listed as a ‘Rising Star’ for Employment and WHS Law in Doyle’s Guide in 2022 and nominated as a ‘Future Leader – Gender Diversity’ in the Chambers Asia Pacific Diversity Awards in 2020.

Brigid’s clients come from a range of industries including technology, healthcare, telecommunications, retail and construction. As a former prosecutor for SafeWork NSW, Brigid has a deep understanding of WHS law, conducting workplace investigations, as well as advising on termination of employment, discrimination, bullying and harassment issues.

“Businesses are dealing with a whole new realm of employment and safety issues, with public expectations at an all-time high. Brigid’s experience navigating both the mitigation and litigation side of Work, Health and Safety makes her a great asset to clients and the firm,” said Grant.
