Macpherson Kelley’s Wills & Estates offering expands into New South Wales with Principal Lawyer appointment
Macpherson Kelley is delighted to announce the appointment of Mimi Su as a new Principal Lawyer practicing in Wills and Estates. Mimi will join the Sydney office as part of the National W&E team, led by a talented group of female lawyers across the eastern seaboard.
Mimi is an accomplished Wills and Estates lawyer with her expertise spanning the full spectrum of estate planning, including testamentary trusts, business succession, probate, complicated estate administration, estate litigation, and trust disputes.
She has acted for a diverse range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals and family groups, in matters involving the successful transfer of intergenerational wealth, succession planning for family trusts, and testamentary capacity disputes.
Mimi has a background in taxation and holds a Master of Laws (taxation specialisation), enabling her to bring a commercial lens to a deeply personal and emotional practice area. She is known for her thoughtful approach, clear-cut, direct advice, and her knowledge of the tax implications of succession planning will help clients make informed decisions with clarity and confidence.
“Mimi’s appointment reflects our commitment to building a team that understands both the technical and human sides of wills and estate planning. She has the ability to deliver commercially astute advice in a space that often involves complex family dynamics,” said Grant Guenther, National Managing Principal.
Commenting on her appointment, Mimi says she’s excited to join a firm with such a broad scope of service offerings.
“I look forward to collaborating with the wider Macpherson Kelley team to offer my clients comprehensive advice throughout every stage of the succession planning journey,” says Mimi.
