about Alanna

Beginning her career at Macpherson Kelley in the graduate program in 2018, Alanna Richmond settled into the Private Clients team the following year.  She found herself drawn to the human element of the practice area, motivated to help clients with matters that go beyond their professional lives and impact themselves and their families in a personal way.

Alanna advises clients on their estate and broader succession planning and also handles all elements of probate and estate administration.

Alanna also has a keen interest in all facets of estate litigation. She regularly acts for clients in relation to family maintenance and provision claims in the Supreme Court of Victoria, guardianship matters in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and other estate related litigation matters.

“Estate law is a personal and sensitive matter, particularly in estate litigation where there is usually conflict between family members. I take a holistic and nurturing approach to help individuals and families through what is usually a difficult time in their lives.”
