Clare O’Mahoney offers broad expertise, supporting clients across the full spectrum of commercial and property transactional and advisory work.

Clare’s advice helps clients achieve their objectives in the most efficient and commercially sensibly way, building valuable relationships and working collaboratively with clients to reach desired outcomes. Clare takes a tailored approach to each matter, investing time to understand each client’s business and industry so that her advice is practical, relevant, and aligned with their goals.

Within the Commercial and Property space, Clare advises and assists with the initial stages of establishing business structures, such as companies and trusts, through to preparing and reviewing documentation, including contracts, commercial leases and business and share sale and purchase agreements – ultimately guiding clients through every step of their business or property transactions.

Clare also has a special interest in Intellectual Property, recognising it as a key asset for any business. As part of her commercial and property advisory work, she advises clients on the appropriate structing and ownership of IP rights, ensuring these rights are properly documented and protected in business contracts. Clare also provides guidance on IP transfers in transactional matters, ensuring the asset is properly preserved and maintained.

Clare is a member of the South Australian Law Society’s Commercial Law Committee and the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand Inc. She also holds a Bachelor of Science (Microbiology, Immunology and Evolutionary Biology) from the University of Adelaide.
