“Clients know that I am willing to take time to understand the ins and outs of their business, so that I can provide advice that is relevant, useful and tailored to them.”
An Agricultural Chemical Supplier approached MK to undertake a complete review of all trading and privacy documents currently being used. Eliza drafted an entire suite of trading documents for multi jurisdictions, including privacy documents, terms and conditions, warranty statements, PPS advice, etc, as well as provided the client with advice in respect of how and when to use each document within their business.
An Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) holder required an independent audit of its policies and procedures for monitoring, supervising, training and appointing authorised representatives, as a requirement of its licence. Eliza acted as an independent auditor to assess whether the business was complying with its obligations as an AFSL holder in appointing authorised representatives. This involved Eliza communicating with the AFSL holder, employees, and some of the appointed authorised representatives to ensure policies where being implemented, and compiling a report of her findings.
An Australian Financial Services Licence holder (AFSL) and Australian Credit Licence (ACL) holder was having difficulty identifying which entities, trusts and individuals were required to be identified for KYC purposes prior to transacting with its clients. Eliza communicated with the business to develop an easy-to-understand flow chart for the KYC process, as well as presented a training session for relevant employees. This then led to Eliza developing an Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Program for the business, which detailed the KYC obligations.
