A Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience in the legal industry, Garry has a deep understanding of the financial complexities of operating a legal practice, as well as the pressures lawyers face on a day-to-day basis.

Garry heads up the national Finance team who are committed not just to the compliance work but adding value by providing excellent support and process improvement to our lawyers. Garry believes the Finance team should, above all, see itself as a service provider to the business.

“Compliance is one part of the role for sure, and that’s about ticking the boxes. The real opportunity lies in process improvement. The lawyers are “our clients”, and like them we need to provide concise, practical advice and support, always looking for better ways to do things.”
