recent experience

  • urgent successive grant of probate

Our clients were two of the three executors appointed in their late father’s will.  Without their knowledge, their sister obtained a Grant of Probate on her own and tried to sell the main estate asset.  Our clients didn’t find out until two months later.  They originally went to another firm, who told them there was nothing they could do.  Within three days of working with the clients, we obtained a second Grant of Probate of the Will, which was to be used in conjunction with the first.  This guaranteed our clients’ involvement in all decisions relating to the estate moving forward, including the sale of the main asset.
