After more than 10 years in litigation and time in Western Australia during the mining boom, Kara Thornton thrives on gathering evidence, putting cases together and presenting them in court.  Her variety of experience includes media, insurance and general commercial law. So one day she may be working on a partnership dispute for a property developer, the next for an operator of a mine or in a media matter.

Kara’s clients are often small and mid-tier firms, and the people she works directly with are the owner or director of the business or someone who has been with the company for a very long time and has skin in the game. This makes it all the more satisfying when Kara helps a client achieve a win.

Kara prides herself on offering flexibility to her clients to meet their needs and is known for her level head, calm demeanour and no nonsense approach to getting things done.
