Macpherson Kelley is pleased to announce the appointment of Tammy Sava as a Principal Lawyer in the firm’s Wills & Estates team, based in Adelaide.

The addition of Tammy supports Macpherson Kelley’s continued investment in South Australia following its 2025 expansion into the state. It strengthens the firm’s national private client capability across all five offices.

A highly regarded wills and estates practitioner, Tammy brings extensive experience advising high‑net‑worth individuals, families, trustees and business owners across complex estate planning, administration and estate litigation matters. She is known for combining deep technical expertise with a personal and empathetic approach during some of the most challenging periods in her clients’ lives.

Her expertise includes complex testamentary trusts, asset protection strategies, blended family estate planning, superannuation and SMSF succession, and contested estate matters, as well as the administration of complex and high‑value estates. She also brings strong leadership experience, having previously led a successful Wills & Estates practice and built a significant client following.

National Managing Principal Grant Guenther said Tammy’s appointment reinforces Macpherson Kelley’s Wills & Estates offering and the firm’s commitment to its private client offering as a core national capability, supporting clients through both their business legal needs and their significant personal legal requirements.

“Tammy is an outstanding addition to our Wills & Estates team. Her technical excellence and genuine commitment to client care strongly support our continued growth in South Australia and across the firm,” said Grant.

“Her appointment also reflects the depth of female leadership within our private client practice.”

Tammy said she was excited to be joining a firm with a strong national presence and a client-focused approach.

“I am delighted to be joining Macpherson Kelley at a time of strong momentum for the firm. The firm’s collaborative culture and focus on delivering practical, commercially informed advice strongly align with how I practise and how I support my clients,” Tammy said.

Tammy is admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia and the High Court of Australia and is a member of the Law Society of South Australia and the Women Lawyers’ Association of South Australia.

Her appointment further strengthens Macpherson Kelley’s Wills & Estates capability nationally, delivering integrated, commercially informed private client advice to clients across Australia.
