Macpherson Kelley is thrilled to announce that Declan High and Jordan Woolley, two of its emerging lawyers, have been named as finalists at the 2024 Lawyers Weekly ‘30 Under 30’ Awards.
These awards celebrate rising stars within the legal industry who have a proven passion for the law and a commitment to personal advancement.
“Achieving 30 Under 30 status is a huge feather in the cap of any emerging legal professional, and one that helps put new lawyers on the map,” says Jerome Doraisamy, editor of Lawyers Weekly.
Declan’s exceptional commercial acumen coupled with his ability to keep his client’s best interest at the heart, have allowed him to achieve great outcomes for all involved.
“I always aim to empower my clients, encouraging them to actively participate in the communication process. Although I offer guidance as needed, I prioritise ensuring our clients understand the rationale behind the strategy to help them achieve a great outcome,” says Declan.
Jordan has established himself as a lawyer who takes an innovative approach to solving complex legal problems, including those that involve large international players.
“Innovation is something that I actively bring to my work at MK, whether in my representation of clients or in terms of expanding MK’s service offerings and industry specialisations,” says Jordan.
The 30 Under 30 winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in Sydney on 7 March 2024.
