Filing deadlines for summer holidays

The Court has determined that a parent wanting to apply for Orders with respect to parenting arrangements over the summer school holidays have until 4pm on Friday 8 November to file their Application.

The Court has made it clear in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Family Law) Rules 2021 at 5.03, that any Applications filed after 8 November may be allocated a hearing date after Christmas.

Plan ahead and follow the Court Rules to enjoy a relaxing, well-deserved break with your children.
