Macpherson Kelley’s Intellectual Property team has been recognised for its outstanding trade mark work for clients by leading international IP publication Managing IP.
The firm has been named a “Notable Firm” for trade mark prosecution in Managing IP’s annual IP Stars list for the second year in a row.
Three Principal Lawyers – Paul Kirton, Belinda Sigismundi and Rita Khodeir – were also named “Notable Practitioners” while Lawyer Georgette Georges was named a “Rising Star”.
“We’re thrilled for the firm to achieve this recognition and I congratulate Belinda, Rita and Georgette on their individual achievements,’ IP team lead Paul Kirton said.
“Trade marks are valuable business assets that we ensure are protected and work for their owners.”
Macpherson Kelley’s IP team has won significant recognition for its trade mark work this year. It was named IP Asia’s Australian Trademark Firm of the Year, and included in the World Trademark Review (WTR) 1000 list for prosecution and strategy.
Special Counsel Mark Metzeling was also named in WTR 1000 for prosecution and strategy and IP transactions.
