Olivia has practiced as a corporate lawyer for 15 years and has acted for listed and unlisted public companies and private companies, in a range of transactions. Olivia has extensive experience with mergers, acquisitions, demergers, schemes of arrangement, capital reorganisation, takeovers and has run a matter in the Takeovers Panel.
As an Equity Capital Markets specialist, Olivia has significant capital raising and IPO experience and regularly advises on equity and hybrid raisings and investments. This includes assisting founders and private companies to become investment ready and in relation to PE investment.

Olivia has worked extensively with listed exploration and mining companies as well as listed technology companies including:
Discovery Metals Limited (listed on ASX, AIM and BSE) – adviser from junior explorer through to copper producer in Botswana; including off-shore structuring, US$250m debt financing, A$142m accelerated rights issue and institutional bookbuild in 14 jurisdictions and 100% off-take agreement with Swiss-trader Transamine.
Sayona Mining Limited – on various transactions including underwritten equity raisings, acquisition of a Canadian lithium project (TSX listed seller), Option & JV Agreements and NSR Royalty Agreements.
Avalon Minerals Limited – represented in Takeover Panel proceedings in relation to alleged undisclosed shareholder associations.
A$285m acquisition of a Mineral Development Licence – from a Government owned entity.
Acquisition and re-location of a lead-zinc processing plant by ASX listed entity – cross-border transaction from Ireland to a remote site in WA.
