about Olivia

A meticulous and tenacious nature has made Olivia one of Brisbane’s “go-to” lawyers for listed and unlisted companies. Olivia’s love of strategy and ability to think commercially makes her an excellent corporate advisory lawyer.

She has helped both public and private companies achieve their business objectives in a range of transactions from mergers and acquisitions to schemes of arrangement, capital reorganisation and takeovers.

As an equity capital markets specialist, Olivia has significant capital raising and IPO experience and regularly advises on equity and hybrid raisings and investments.

“Being across the commercial, economic, financial and legal aspects of a matter and how they intersect is what I love about corporate advisory work. There is nothing more satisfying than not only watching, but actively participating in a client’s evolution, and knowing that we did it!”

  • multi-million dollar sale

Olivia guided the owner of the business through a pre-completion restructure and sale involving complex working capital, net debt and earn-out provisions. She introduced a specialist M&A accountant, as well as obtaining tax advice from other team members, forming an advisory team, she substantially increased the ‘cash in hand’ received by the vendor. The business’ CFO complemented Olivia for going “above and beyond” and “leaving no stone unturned” to get the right results.
